Chairman Message:

At the outset, I am thankful to the Biodiesel Association of India (BDAI) for honoring me with the position of Chairman - Emirateus of this vibrant body.

For India, energy security is the most serious strategic concern, which affects our economic policies and at the same time drives our diplomatic initiatives. As of this day, the world may be witnessing a comfortable level of crude oil prices, thanks to global economic meltdown, the long-term scenario building has to be done with crude oil price between USD 60 to 80.

Vision 2020 :

By 2020, India will become the largest Biodiesel processing blending consuming nation, biodiesel will be viewed as an integral component of a national energy security which will increasingly relies on clean, indigenous, renewable fuels. We believe that proposed Biofuels' Board that would soon be incorporated as announced by the Government under the chairmanship of Honorable Prime Minister, would announce policies and will support a significant and stable market. Sales, primarily in the form of low level biodiesel blends, will exceed Five million Kilo liters per year.
